Description

Group accommodation 'de Blokhut' in combination with 4 (five-person) glamping tents (20 people)

The accommodation
The 4 luxury five-person glamping tents are rented out in combination with a cozy log cabin. The group cabin has two patio doors to the terrace with garden furniture. The spacious kitchen has a large gas stove with oven and a dishwasher. Of course there are enough pots, pans and crockery available for your group.
The tents all have their own kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. It is a spacious bathroom with a comfortable shower (of course with hot water), toilet and bathroom furniture. One of the bedrooms has 2 separate box-spring beds and the other room has a bunk bed and a single bed. The air conditioning can both cool and heat the tent. In addition, there is a gas heater in the tent that provides pleasant warmth when it cools down a bit in the evening. These luxury safari tents are located on the edge of the holiday park and have a view of the Kuinderbos. The front of the tents can be partially unzipped, transforming the kitchen into an outdoor kitchen. The spacious deck terrace with comfortable lounge sofas borders a beautiful water feature.

The holiday park
The accommodations are located in the yard of a former farm. The sports fields (volleyball field, football field and tennis court) are free to use by everyone. There are also various exciting playground equipment for small children. The go-karts and the canoes are especially popular. There is also a covered area with various play equipment in the yard.

We also offer some extra service like, beer tap rental, catering, barbecue rental and outdoor activities.

Area
The small-scale holiday park is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park is located on the edge of the 1100-hectare Kuinderbos, where you can go for a walk, go cycling and go horse riding on the riding trails. The location of the holiday park offers enough opportunities to make various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is definitely worth it. The Frisian lakes and forests of Gaasterland are also within half an hour's drive from the park.

In the north of Overijssel are the wetlands, called the Weerribben (national nature park) and the Wieden. Slightly above that is the Rottige Meenthe. These areas together form a large low peat bog that was created in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries as a result of peat extraction. The area is largely open to the public. You can go there to canoe, cycle or walk. A visit to the visitor center in Sint Jansklooster or in Ossenzijl is also definitely worth it. The town of Giethoorn also deserves extra attention. Giethoorn, with many canals, bridges and lakes, is called the Venice of the North.
