The park
You stay on the grounds of a former farmstead. Small-scale, green and easy to get around. There's a relaxed atmosphere here and you have all the space to be outside.

The surroundings
The park is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. On the edge of the 1,100-hectare Kuinderbos forest. Here you can hike, cycle or ride horses through the riding trails in the heart of nature.
 
There's also plenty to discover in the surrounding area. Visit old Zuiderzee villages like Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk. Explore the Frisian lakes or hike through the forests of Gaasterland. You can be there in half an hour.
 
In Northwest Overijssel you'll find National Park Weerribben-Wieden and the nature reserve Rottige Meenthe. A vast peat meadow filled with water, reeds and narrow paths. Rent a canoe. Grab your bike. Or lace up your walking boots.
 
End your day in Giethoorn. Drift along the canals and little bridges. Not without reason is it called the Venice of the North.
